2. What we collect, and why
| Information | When | Why we use it | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested | Every visit | Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, needs it to deliver this website and protect it from attacks. We have no analytics and do not use it to identify you. | Legitimate interests: running a working, secure website |
| Your cart: product names, sizes and quantities | When you add something to your cart | Kept in your own browser so your cart is still there when you change pages. It holds nothing about you and is not sent to us. | Strictly necessary for the cart you ask for |
| Your name and your area in Ogulagha (both optional) | Only if you type them on the cart page | Added to the WhatsApp message you choose to send, so we can find you. This website does not store them. | Steps you ask us to take before an order |
| Your phone number, WhatsApp name and messages | When you message us | To reply, confirm what we have, tell you the total and how to pay, and keep you updated. | Performing our contract with you, or steps you ask us to take before one |
| Delivery details: where to deliver and who will receive it | When you place an order | To deliver your order around Ogulagha. | Performing our contract with you |
| Payment confirmation: the name on the paying account, amount, date and reference | When you pay | To confirm your payment before we deliver, and to send refunds. | Performing our contract with you; our legal duty to keep business records |
| Your emails | If you email us | To reply to you. | Legitimate interests: answering people who contact us |
We never ask for your card number, PIN, one-time password (OTP) or bank passwords, and this website cannot take payments.
3. Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this website.
- WhatsApp, a Meta service, when you choose to message us there. WhatsApp's own privacy policy covers your use of WhatsApp.
- Your bank or payment provider, which handles your payment. We only receive the confirmation.
- The person delivering your order, who gets only your name, phone number and delivery location.

- Government authorities, if the law requires us to.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
4. Information that leaves Nigeria
Cloudflare and WhatsApp may process information on servers outside Nigeria. They are international providers that publish their own data protection safeguards, and we use them only for the purposes on this page.
5. How long we keep it
- Your cart stays in your browser until you empty it or clear your browser's data.
- Order and payment records are kept for as long as Nigerian tax and accounting rules require us to keep business records.
- Other messages and delivery details are deleted once we no longer need them to deliver your order or deal with a refund or complaint.
6. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- stop or limit how we use it, or object to how we use it;
- give you your information in a format you can take elsewhere;
- stop using it where we rely on your consent.
To use any of these rights, contact us on WhatsApp or by email. We may ask you to confirm who you are. We will respond without undue delay, and there is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (opens in a new tab).
